Organized by Health Daily and BOUSSIAS Events, “The Future of Healthcare in Greece” Conference, one of the largest health policy conferences in the country, was concluded successfully, celebrating its 15th anniversary with the participation of 35 distinguished Greek and foreign speakers and more than 200 participants, including health professionals, researchers, academics, policy makers, industry representatives, Health insurance agencies representatives and patients.
The conference that took place on June 3rd, 2025 in Athens at the DIVANI CARAVEL Ηotel, under the theme “Advancing Technology, Policy and Care for a viable and Inclusive Healthcare System,” marked its 15th consecutive and successful edition and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its role as a premier conference platform in the coming years, shaping the future of Healthcare in Greece.
An elite lineup of institutional officials and representatives of health policy influential policymakers, healthcare leaders and visionary academics, such as the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, Alternate Minister of Health, Eirini Agapidaki, Marios Themistokleous, Deputy Minister of Health, as well as former Minister of Health, Athanasios Plevris, Dr. João Breda, Head, WHO Athens Quality of Care and Patient Safety Office, Athanassios Zamanis, Vice-President of the National Organization for the Provision of Health Services (EOPYY), Olga Balaoura, Governor of the 1stHealthcare District of Attica, Panos Vardas, President of the European Society of Cardiology, and the President of the Hellenic Society of Internal Medicine, Nikolaos Tеntolouris, analyzed global trends in healthcare and their implications for Greece, through four important key sessions.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Health, the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Industry Union (PEF), PhRMA Innovation Forum (PIF), the Association of Medical and Biotechnological Product Enterprises (SEIV) and the Association of Representatives of Pharmaceutical Products & Specialties (SAFEE).
